We’ve all heard of ‘food miles’, but how few of them can you get away with and still eat well?
The Standard’s food columnist, James Waller-Davies, is about to see if he can live for the next two weeks off food produced exclusively from a 10-mile radius of his home in the Lincolnshire Fens. If it’s not produced within the 10-miles, it’s off the menu.
Lincolnshire is well known for being one of the country’s best food counties, but can it provide a full menu for two weeks?
You can follow James’s two weeks on Twitter using #Lincs10MileFood – or look out for his feature at the end of the challenge.
