JENNIFER Jayne Blackbourn and Mark Anthony Sullivan, have married at the Centenary Methodist Church, in Boston.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Blackbourn and the groom is the son of Mr and Mrs M. Sullivan.
The ceremony was officiated by the Rev Trevor Hancock.
The bride was given away by her father.
The bride wore a vintage handmade dress in dusky pink silk with gold lace and beading detail made by Dena at Silver Thimble. She held a teardrop bouquet of pink, cram and hypnose roses.
She was attended by her sister Wendy Trotter, who was her matron of honour, the groom’s sister Joanne Ball, who was a bridesmaid, and Naiha Trotter, who was a flowergirl.
The bridesmaids wore mocha metallic satin dresses with sweetheart necklines and the flowergirl wore an ivory dress with a gold sash.
Best man was the groom’s best friend Sean Barnett.
The ushers were the bride’s brother Gary Blackbourn and the groom’s cousin Jason Sullivan.
The reception was held at Swineshead Village Hall and the couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic.
They plan to make their home in Boston.
The bride was educated at the Giles School, in Old Leake, and went to Boston College to study hairdressing.
She is a senior self-employed hair stylist at Cut Above.
The groom was educated at Kitwood Boys and Haven High and works as a stevedore at the Port of Boston.
