Langold: Man given suspended jail term and curfew after being found guilty of assault

A man has been given a suspended jail term at Worksop Magistrates’ Court after being found guilty of assaulting another man.

Steven Slater, 59, of Firbeck Avenue in Langold, pleaded not guilty but was found guilty and given a four-month suspended term and placed under curfew to remain at his home address between 8pm and 5am seven days a week for four months.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £100 compensation, £150 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
