There are just a few days left now to either support or ask to be supported by the Give a Gift Christmas toy appeal.

Donations of toys have been coming in to support this year’s appeal – which will deliver wrapped gifts to families with children who need a bit of help this Christmas.

Those who feel they need help this year are urged to get in touch. They can choose to remain anonymous.

The appeal is run by Thomas Campbell Estate Agents and supported by The Standard, Asda, Ted West’s fish shop and Boston Borough Council - each taking in donations of toys and gifts.

Council leader Peter Bedford said: “It’s important to try to help those families which haven’t got the same luxuries the rest of us have at Christmas.”

The deadline for toys to be handed in at one of those drop-off points is Sunday, December 14.Those wishing to put forward themselves for help are urged to get in touch by Friday, December 19 by emailing or fill out your details on
