Learn about village histories at open day
The fifth annual event on Saturday, July 23, will be officially opened by Lincoln’s Town Crier, Karen Crow, from 10am until 4pm at Sturton by Stow Village Hall.
This year’s event theme is Lincolnshire Crafts and Produce.
Society member, Sharron Banham, said: “The Society arranges a programme of monthly talks, occasional trips and an annual open day.

“Along with local producers such as a brewer, pie maker, baker and bee keeper, crafts will include lace making, handmade bags, jewellery and pyrography.
“We’re delighted that Karen will add a touch of colour and her voice to open the day.
“Along with all the stalls, there will be historical features including Marshalls tractors, agricultural tools and village photographs.”
