Louth sex offender, 29, fined over new credit card account
David Redgrift (also known as Jensen), of Eastgate, admitted the offence when he appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (August 16).
Dan Pietryka, prosecuting, said Redgrift was placed on the Sexual Offenders’ Register for 10 years in 2007 and had, at various times, been told about his obligations.

Mitigating, Nigel Sloane said that when Redgrift was placed on the register in 2007, there was no obligation to report a new credit card and it was only added to the requirements in 2012.
He said it was in a casual conversation in the street with his case officer, that he realised he should have done so and was advised to do so immediately.
Mr Sloane said Redgrift had had no court appearances since 2007 and had close contact with his case officer.
The magistrates fined Redgrift £120 and ordered him to pay £105 in costs and charges.
