Maltby: 57-year-old man hospitalised after crashing motorcycle into stone wall

A 57-year-old man has been hospitalised after crashing a motorcycle into a stone wall.

The male suffered serious injuries and has been receiving treatment.

At around 1.50pm on Saturday 27th September, it is reported that a group of motorcycles were travelling along the A634 Blyth Road from Maltby heading towards the village of Stone, Rotherham.

As the group of riders passed Roche Abbey it is reported that one motorcycle, a blue Triumph, left the road and was in collision with a stone wall.

Police officers are now appealing for any witnesses.

Call police on 1010 quoting incident number 618.
