Man banned from driving after being over twice the legal limit

Mark Anthony Pearson, 44, of Farm Close in Gunness was found guilty of drink driving when he appeared before North Lincolnshire Magistrates Court this week.

He had pleaded not guilty to the offence which took place on November 26 last year in Scunthorpe when he was found behind the wheel with 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35.

The court fined him £110, ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £200 and he was disqualified from driving for six months.
