Man charged with phone possession in HMP Ranby
A Leicester man has been charged with possessing mobile phones in Ranby Prison.
Carl Peters, 33, of Stamford Street, Glenfield, made no plea when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court on Thursday.
It is alleged that he had possession of the phones at the prison on April 17 and May 24.
Mr Peters was bailed to Nottingham Crown Court on January 5.
