A 66-year-old man charged with the murder of Manfred Jaedke has been sent for trial at Lincoln Crown Court to begin today (Tuesday).
Vidmantas Svedarauskas, of Porcher Way, in Boston, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court yesterday afternoon where he was sent for trial and remanded in custody.
Svedarauskas has been charged with murdering 61-year-old Manfred Jaedke, whose body was found at his Porcher Way home at 4pm on Friday night.
A 41-year-old woman, who was also arrested at the time, remains on police bail after being released on Saturday.
Formal identification procedures have not yet been completed and police are still tracing relatives outside the UK but have confirmed that they believe the identity is correct.
