Man used a golf club as a weapon in public
A Gainsborough man has been given a 12 week suspended prison sentence for a number of offences.
Karl Chippington, 23, of Clinton Terrace, Gainsborough, was charged with assault, possession of an offensive weapon, a golf club, and using threatening or abusive language. He was also ordered to pay £50 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £300 costs.
