FROM roasting and baking to stir-frying and flambéing – a team of young chefs tried it all when they took part in a Masterchef-style competition in Boston.
Two girls from Boston High School were among the finalists in the Go Global Cookery Competition, which came to a head in a weekend of cooking at the Freiston Centre for Environmental Education.
Victoria Bates and Rupa Keshwara joined budding chefs from schools in Grantham, Spalding and Gainsborough to battle it out for £1,000 towards their school’s food technology room.
It was part of Lincolnshire’s ‘Live and Learn Like Champion’ Olympic and Paralympic programme organised by CfBT.
The winners were from Queen Elizabeth School, Gainsborough.
