AN EXTRA £20,000 could be made available for further improvements in the play area in Boston’s Central Park.
Members of Boston Borough Council’s decision-making cabinet backed the proposed spend on Wednesday.
The authority hopes to share the cost with the Boston town area committee.
Grant money totalling £40,000 has paid for new equipment for older children and young people in the park.
However, according to a report that went before councillors on Wednesday, ‘currently the toddlers area requires improvement and additional provision is needed for outdoor gym equipment’.
