ALAN Brader, of Cromwell Place, Tattershall, has died peacefully at Pilgrim Hospital.
He was 83.
Born in Huttoft, he lived in this area for 70 years.
A widower, he is survived by daughters Jennifer Harvey and Susan Horsey and sons Andrew and Michael Brader.
Mr Brader was a HGV driver for the majority of his working life.
He was tower captain of Coningsby and Tattershall Church for 30 years as well as being a church warden, parish councillor and member of the Royal British Legion.
His funeral took place at St Michael’s Church, Coningsby, and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Margaret Done.
Chief family mourners were: Jennifer and John Harvey and Susan and Colin Horsey (daughters and sons-in-law), Andrew and Jackie Brader and Michael and Wendy Brader (sons and daughters-in-law), Steven and Alan Harvey, Robert and Ian Horsey, Lillian and George Brader, Louise and Ben Brighton and Jessica and Emily Brader (grandchildren).
