BRIAN Derek Osborne, of Tower Gardens, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following illness.
He was 70.
He was born in East Heckington.
A married man, he is survived by wife Sandra, stepson Mark, son Jason, daughter Lisa, granddaughters Shelbie, Emilia and Maddie, grandsons Sonny, Harry Oliver, brother Ron and sister Shirley.
During his working life Mr Osborne was a caretaker at St Thomas’ School and Boston College, working almost 13 years at St Thomas’ until retiring in March 2006.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and working in his garden.
He also enjoyed holidaying abroad with his wife and having weekends away in Mablethorpe.
His funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by Canon Robin Whitehead.
