DAVID John Sheldon, of Bicker, has died at Pilgrim Hospital.
He was 65.
Born in Revesby Bank, Boston, he lived in this area all his life.
A married man, he is survived by wife Jennifer, daughter Rebecca, son Matthew and granddaughters Katherine and Laura.
Mr Sheldon was a precision engineer and worked for D.F. Grundy, in Donington, for 28-and-a-half years and latterly for William Foster and Co, in Bicker.
He liked steam traction engines, photography and caravanning.
His funeral took place at St Swithun’s Church, Bicker, and was followed by interment at Bicker Cemetery. The service was officiated by the Rev David De Verny.

Dawson (cousin), Katie and Matthew Goodwin (niece and husband) and David, Helena, Stuart, Karen, Charlie, Ann, Barry, Billy, Val, Richard, Paul, Bev, Helen, Peter, Anne, Keith, Rosemary, Frederick, Patricia and John (cousins).
Unable to attend: Elsie Sheldon (mother), Jean Sanderson (sister), Katherine and Laura (granddaughters) and Brenda and Noel Moore (cousins).
