DAVID John Young (Daz) has died suddenly, following a short illness, at Nottingham City Hospital.
He was 68 years of age.
Mr Young, of Freiston Road, was born in the Wellington Pub in Boston and lived in the area throughout his life.
He leaves behind partner Jenny Rogers, stepson Paul Rogers, sister Jane Blacksell, daughter Rachel Young and grandson Kieran Young.
He worked as an electrician throughout his career, and his interests outside work included shooting, fishing and birds. He raced pigeons for 25 years and later showed gloster canaries.
My Young’s funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and Canon Robin Whitehead officiated.
Family mourners were: Jenny Rogers (partner), Paul Rogers (stepson), Jane and Eric Blacksell (sister and brother-in-law), Rachel Young and Chris Brookes (daughter and partner), Marie and Martin Waters (niece and husband) Keith and Wendy Carrington and Maureen and Michael Bland (brothers and sisters-in-law), Neil Bland, Gavin Carrington and Daniel Carrington (nephews).
Unable to attend: Stephen and Christine Goldspink (nephew and wife).
