LAURENCE Antony Kemp (Tony), of Chester Way, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following a long illness.
He was 74.
Born in Sleaford, Mr Kemp had lived in the Boston area for 40 years.
A married man, he leaves behind wife Ann, daughter Susan, son Graham and brothers Trevor and John.
In his working life, Mr Kemp worked for the Ambulance Service for 37 years until his retirement in 1995. He also took part in National Service between 1956-1958.
In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, gardening and DIY.
Mr Kemp’s funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by Father Chris Wedge.
Chief family mourners were: Ann Kemp (wife), Sue and Dave Larthwell (daughter and son-in-law), Graham and Karen Kemp (son and daughter-in-law), Trevor and Becky Mayfield and John and Kay Mayfield (brothers and sisters-in-law), Wendy and Eric Wells (sister-in-law and brother-in-law), Karina (granddaughter) Brady and Josh (great-grandsons), Daniel, Steven and Jacob Mayfield, Mark and Paul Mayfield and Martin Wells, (nephews), Lee Mayfield and Ally (nephew and partner), Debbie Wingad (niece), Sarah Monk and Carol Neal (cousins).
