PETER Arthur Harman (Pete), of New York, has died at Pilgrim Hospital from cancer.
He was 61.
Born in Boston, he lived in the area all his life.
A married man, he is survived by wife Doreen, mother Lucy, daughters Tracey and Dawn, sisters Janet, Carol, Kate, Geraldine and Margaret and brother Kevin.
During his working life, Mr Harman was an electrician working at Norton Wilcox and as a BT electrical engineer for more than 30 years until his retirement in 2009 due to ill health.
He enjoyed motorbiking, fishing, playing darts and 10-pin bowling, going on holidays and cruises and dining out.
Mr Harman’s funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Rosemary Taylor.
Chief family mourners were: Doreen (Arry) Harman (wife), Tracey Harman and Nick Flood and Dawn Harman and Matt Barnes (daughters and partners), Andrew Upsall (son), Janet and Geoff Large, Carol and Roger Sanders and Geraldine and Gordon Smith (sisters and brothers-in-law), Kate Wilson and Robin Pilgrim (sister and partner), Margaret Ferguson (sister), Kevin Harman and Elaine Mitchum (brother and partner), Mary and John Buffham and Dorothy and Roland Reece (sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law) and other family members.
