CYNTHIA Florence Irene Hall, of Kirton Holme, has died at Hunters Creek Care Home, after suffering from cancer.
She was 84.
Born in Lincoln, the family moved to Kirton Holme where she attended the local school. Mrs Hall worked as a clerical officer for the Ministry of Agriculture at Kirton for 41 years until retirement.
She also helped her father and husband Albert on their land.
She married her late husband in March 1950 at St Botolph’s Church, Boston.
They celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary before his death in 2010.
Mrs Hall enjoyed travel, photography, dancing and playing whist and bingo.
She was a member of Kirton Holme WI for 45 years, spending many of those as president.
She joined the Kirton Holme Never Forgotten Club in 1980, retiring as secretary in 2008, but remaining a member.
Other interests including the Royal Tank Regiment, Civil Service Club, Royal British Legion and the Lancaster Association.
She attended Christ Church, Kirton Holme and local parish services.
The funeral took place at Christ Church, Kirton Holme, and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Jacqui Morton.
