GRACE Daft, of Gipsey Bridge, has died at home.
She was 87.
Born in Boston, she lived in this area for 87 years.
The widow of Henry Daft, she is survived by sons John and Brian, grandchildren Lisa, Christopher, Carly, James, Maria and Emma and great-grandchildren Kelsey and Jordan Jay.
Mrs Daft spent three years in the Armed Forces in the Auxilliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.
After marrying Mr Daft, she moved to Gipsey Bridge where she lived as wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother until her death.
Mrs Daft enjoyed ballroom dancing and, with her late husband, won a number of medals.
Her funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by the Rev Jaqui Morton.
Chief family mourners were: John and Ann Daff and Brian and Mandy Daft (sons and daughters-in-law). Lisa, Christopher, Carly, James, Maria and Emma (grandchildren), Brian and Ann Smith, Joy Taylor, Doris Jackson, John Borrell, Alan Borrell, Cynthia and Mervyn Pack, Joan Sanderson, Alan Cutforth and Roy Daft (nephews and nieces) and other family.
