Mrs Jean Mary Pickering


JEAN Mary Pickering, of Old Leake, has died at Skegness Hospital following a short illness.

She was 78.

Mrs Pickering was born in Bourne.

A widow, she is survived by sisters Joan and Maureen, brothers Les and John, son David, daughters Annette, Carol, Betty, Sharon, Dianne and Mandy, 23 grandchildren and 50-plus great-grandchildren.

During her working life Mrs Pickering was a general landworker.

She enjoyed playing bingo, doing jigsaws and scratchcards.

She also enjoyed playing darts and snooker and was a massive fan of Daniel O’Donnell.

Her funeral took place at Old Leake Church and was followed by burial.

Chief family mourners were: Mandy, Harry and family, Dianne, Jolly and family, Sharon, Maurice and family, Betty, Carol and family, Annette and Paul and David and family (children and families), Joan and Maureen (sisters) and Suzanne, Tracy, Rebecca and Kevin (nieces and nephew).
