A man accused of the murder of a 61 year old neighbour has today (Tuesday) been remanded in custody following an appearance at Lincoln Crown Court.
Vidmantas Svedarauskas, 66, of Porcher Way, Boston, is accused of the murder of Manfred Jaedke.
Mr Jaedke, a German national who had lived in the UK for a number of years, was found dead at his home in Porcher Way on Friday.
Svedarauskas, who was assisted by a Lithuanian interpreter during this morning’s hearing, spoke only to confirm his name.
There was no application for bail.
Judge Michael Heath remanded him in custody to await a plea and trial preparation hearing on August 8.
A provisional trial date was set for December 12.
