Norbridge goes global
PUPILS at Norbridge Academy are gaining all the skills needed for life in the social media world.
The school has held two blogathons which have gained more than 5,000 hits on their blogging site from across the world.
Headteacher George Huthart said: “It is a great way of engaging children with writing for a global audience. The children are now global corespondents and they have been enthused about writing. We are sure we are creating journalists and writers for the future.”
“We are planning to run a blogathon each half term and we would love people to share our work and comment.”
