Notts: Puppy rescued after getting head wedged in railings
The Jack Rusell, called Jinx, had let his curiosity get the better of him when he ran towards his owners’ iron gates.
His owners Darren and Diane Green quickly called Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, who arrived on the scene to help.

Watch manager, Steven Steers, said: “It was the quick-thinking and improvisation of the firefighters which meant that we were able to rescue the puppy quickly and effectively rather than start cutting at the iron gate.”
Mrs Green said: “I can’t thank them enough.”
