Phyllis Edna Shores, of King Street, Kirton, has died at Pilgrim Hospital, following a short illness.
She was 94.
Born in Boston, Mrs Shores lived in the area her whole life.
A widower, she is suvived by daughter Judith, son John, granddaughters Charlotte, Alison, Kerrie and Faith, grandson Ben and great-granddaughter Emily.
A retired woman, she enjoyed knitting and walking around Boston Market. She also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
Mrs Shores’ funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by interment at Kirton Cemetery.
Chief family mourners were: Judith Arbon (daughter), John Shores (son), David Arbon (son-in-law), Jeanette Shores (daughter-in-law), Alison and Wayne Stringer (granddaughter and husband), Kerrie Arbon and Jason Butler (granddaughter and partner), Charlotte Shores (granddaughter), Emily Arbon (great-granddaughter) and Mary Arbon (sister-in-law), Ian and Gail Clayton, Enid Webster, Diana Webster, Heather Miller, Lesley Horton and Freda Bark (other family members).
