Local folk tales are the inspiration behind a bizarre puppet show coming to Boston Stump this Saturday.
Fen Boy tells the tale of a strange, tiny creature made from mud who gets the better of his new master.
Using masks, vibrant storytelling and puppetry, award-winning Strangeface theatre, commissioned by Transported Arts, will bring their hour-long show to local audiences.
Fen Boy is based on British folklore and the trickster fairy Boggart. It is said to be suitable for all ages.
The show will also be at Quadring village hall on October 27, Fenside Community Centre on October 30, Swineshead village hall on November 8, Boston West Academy on November 13 and Wrangle parish hall on November 15.
The Stump show starts at 7pm.
Tickets £5 adults (conc £3), family ticket £12, from 01205 354670 or the Stump shop.
