Resurfacing works are set to close two roundabouts for overnight works in Boston next week.
The works are due to start on September 8, on the A52 Sleaford Road/A1121 Roundabout, when it will be closed between 7pm and 6am.
The work will include resurfacing to 50m each side of the roundabout and will coincide with Network Rail’s closure of the Grantham Road level crossing on from 10pm until 6am.
The diversion route will be signed via the A16 and A17. For access to Ashton-Hall Drive, drivers are advised to use the A17 and A1121 only.
Following this on September 9 and 10, further resurfacing works will take place on the A1121 Boardsides Endeavour roundabout, including 50m either side of roundabout.
The road will again be closed from 7pm until 6pm. For access to Ashton-Hall Drive, drivers are requested to use the A52 Sleaford Road only.
The council says the works are taking place overnight ‘to ensure the works can be carried out safely and efficiently’.
