A touch of wedded bliss for nurse

A Boston nurse who was meant to be getting married on Friday was given a special bridal visor to wear at work on the day.

Wedding dress designer Sanyukta Shrestha decided to surprise the nurse, Donna, by sending her the visor along with a handwritten letter.

Sanyukta said: ‘Even though your wedding is not happening, you can still wear something special from your designer while serving the nation during this pandemic.”

Donna responded by sending some pictures, and said: “I loved wearing my head dress today, it made the day really special.

“All my colleagues completely spoilt me and the visor veil was the absolute cherry on the cake. Thank you.”
