Company behind Tattershall site secures Boston West retreat
Holiday specialists Away Resorts have secured the 180-acre Boston West park retreat which will now become one of seven sites owned by the British parent company.
Away Resorts has received planning permission to install 300 modern new cabin lodges for holiday makers and owners to enjoy in 2021.

As a result, Away Resorts confirmed they will be investing in a number of improvements across its portfolio of holiday parks, including Tattershall.
Away Resorts Chief Executive, Carl Castledine – whose grandfather founded Britain’s first holiday park – said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to add Boston West to our expanding portfolio .
“We are also proud to be investing more into this booming industry.

A statement issued by the Boston site’s previous owners said: “We are really excited to announce that Away Resorts have offered to acquire Boston West, with views to further enhance and drive the vision we started by furthering the plans for the introduction of the holiday village and luxury resort, whilst supporting the much loved nine-hole golf course.”
The acquisition, for an undisclosed value, includes the transition of staff who will continue their employment.
Apart from the cabins and golf course, the site will include a spa, café/restaurant, an interactive learning centre and a whole host of outdoor activities from Zip wiring to Segway tours.

Hide AdIn recent years, Away Resorts have invested more than £12m in improvements at its Tattershall site including a new-look swimming pool, a bigger indoor entertainment area and new caravans and lodges.
It is a major employer in the area.
