Harry Potter event to return to Boston Library, complete with Hogwarts characters

An annual celebration of Harry Potter returns to Boston Library on Thursday, February 6.

This year’s theme is the Triwizard Tournament.

Visitors will enter through Platform 9¾, chose their team from the Goblet of Fire, and follow a special Triwizard maze around the library to take part in a range of exciting activities including: table Quidditch, Hogwarts treasure hunt, wand-making, merperson-making, dragon egg-designing, dragon-making, Golden Snitch-making, pygmy puff-making, pin the scar on Harry Potter, Triwizard Trophy-making, magical coding, plus the chance to meet a dementor and take a ‘Have You Seen This Wizard?’ selfie.

Alison Wade, library manager said: “Harry Potter Night is always a magical occasion at Boston Library and this year is no different. We’re especially excited to be welcoming a few Hogwarts characters, and

The free event runs from 3.30-5pm and is open to all ages. No need to book, just turn up.
