Horncastle businesses close their doors amid Covid-19 safety fears
Myers Bakery, Cafe & Deli made the announcement on Facebook yesterday (Thursday).
It read: “We will be closing the bakery shop at 1pm on Saturday, March 28, until further notice.

Hide Ad“It has been a very difficult decision for us to make, but the health and safety of our employees, our customers and our family, has to come first.
“We will review the situation over the next couple of weeks based on government guidelines.
“We would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to our dedicated team of employees who have worked extremely hard during these unprecedented times.
“Also a big thank you to our customers for your continued support- we look forward to serving you again as soon as we possibly can!”

Hide AdIt is also understood that several takeaways in the town have closed due to staff safety concerns.
Montebello Ristorante and Little Caesar’s in Horncastle have also closed.
Serendipity Thai Dining is still making deliveries which can be ordered via the restaurant or through Facebook.
