A house has been left damaged after a car crashed into it in Boston earlier today.

The Silver Yaris crashed into the house on Norfolk Street, causing damage to the front of the structure and blocking the road.

Police closed part of the road during a recovery operation and to ensure the structure was safe.

No one was hurt in the accident.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We received a call at 9.07am today, reporting that a vehicle had collided with a house on Norfolk Street, Boston.

“It involved a silver Toyota Yaris. No one was injured.

“The road between Sluice Bridge and Tunnard Street was closed while recovery takes place.”

He said the road closure was lifted at around 4.30pm.
