A Springer Spaniel who was reported missing from Louth is now “safe and well”, Lincolnshire Police have updated.

The force appealed for information regarding Isla, a springer spaniel reported stolen from Louth, on Wednesday (April 19).

Now the police have reported that officers are satisfied that “Isla is safe and well”.

A spokesman said: “While our investigation is ongoing, we believe Isla was taken due to a dispute over ownership.

"We would like to thank everyone for your support for this appeal.”
