A locket has been handed in to Boston Police Station after it was found on Wide Bargate earlier this month.
The man who handed it in, who didn’t give his name, told The Standard it looked ‘commemorative’.
He found it just on top of a bin in one of the car parks as if someone had picked it up off the ground and put it there sometime around April 4.
The pendant is metal and in the shape of a heart, with half of the front having an embossed design.
In the front it contains a picture of a baby with a tube in its nose and a teddy bear.
On the back is the inscription which reads ‘Hugo John 17.03.14 xxx’.
Anyone who thinks the locket might belong to them or who has information, can visit Boston Police Station where the item is being held.
