The man who died in a collision on the A16 on Thursday has been named as 74-year-old Richard Harrison.
Mr Harrison, of Friar Way in Boston, was married to Brenda and the couple had three daughters.
He was thought to be travelling home from work when he was involved in a collision with a lorry between Sibsey and Stickney.
A statement released by the family said: “We are completely heartbroken and devastated but wish to thank everyone from the emergency services who attended the accident and tried to help him.”
A 52-year-old man, who was driving the Spanish-registered lorry, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been released on bail until June 5.
