Advice and support for forces members

Support and information is being offered to serving armed forces members, ex-servicemen and women and their families on Saturday.

The Boston and District Branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) and the Forces Family and Friends Support Circle is holding two open door sessions to complement this year’s Poppy Appeal activities in the town.

The sessions will be held in the Community Rooms in Wide Bargate. The first is on Saturday, November 3, from 10am-3pm, the second is on Thursday, November 8, and will commence after the service in The Memorial Gardens to open the Garden of Remembrance .

The RBL, along with its affiliated support group, aim to provide support, advice and direction to those who are currently serving and those whom have already done their duty.

They offer counselling and support to those who may need practical help or specialist advice to get life back on track.
