An event is taking place in Boston on Sunday to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Mohammad.
The gathering - aiming to ‘promote peace’ - will be held at The Star of India restuarant in West Street.
All members of the community, irrespective of faith and belief, are invited to attend and enjoy the free food, served from 1.30pm-10pm.
The Muslim community has invited all to attend - with the pre-planned day having been given greater significance following the ongoing events in Paris.
Yasmin Choudhury, whose husband works at the Star of India, said: “We hold this event every year at different restaurants and this year it is the turn of the Star of India.
“All are welcome to attend and celebrate with us – Christian, Hindu, Muslim – all faiths and beliefs.
“It is about spreading peace. We all come from the same creator and it’s nice to get along.”
