Licensing checks for eight shops

AN OPERATION targeting underage sales of alcohol in Boston was passed by the eight shops tested on Saturday.

Officers from Lincolnshire Trading Standards and Lincolnshire Police Licensing along with two 15-year-old and a 16-year-old volunteers tested Boston Food and Wine and Euro International in High Street, 7 Day Deli and Co-op Foodstore, on West Street, Boston Deli, on Skirbeck Road, Baltic Shop, on Main Ridge, International Shop on Red Lion Street and Asda, on Sleaford Road.

All sales of alcohol and tobacco were refused and ID requested at all shops.
