Politically minded youths from Boston villages celebrate election success

TWO politically minded young people from villages near Boston are celebrating their very own election success.

Aaron Spencer, 19, of Fosdyke, and Thomas Ashton, 25, of Wrangle, have been elected as deputy chairmen for the Lincolnshire branch of Conservative Future.

The organisation is the UK’s largest youth political group, with more than 15,000 members across the country.

Aaron will be responsible for policy and campaigning, while Thomas’ post deals with membership.

The pair were elected at the Lincolnshire Conservative Future annual general meeting, held recently in Lincoln.
