Potential voters from South Holland and villages south of Boston have until midnight today to register for this month’s European Union (EU) referendum.
Both South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council are reminding people who are not yet registered to vote that they must do so by June 7.
Anyone who is already registered to vote and eligible to do so can vote in the EU referendum on June 23.
To be elgible, you must be 18 or over on June 23, a British or Irish citizen living in the UK or a Commonwealth citizen living in the UK who either has leave to stay here or does not require it.
British citizens living overseas but registered to vote in the UK in the last 15 years and Irish citizens living overseas who were born in Northern Ireland and registered to vote in the country in the last 15 years are also eligible to take part in the referendum.
