Emergency services were called to a collision involved a car and a horse and cart this morning (Tuesday).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said the incident happened between Aslackby and Kirkby Underwood on the A15.

They said: “We received a report of a collision involving a horse and cart and a Ford S-Max at Kirkby Underwood, Aslackby at 9.47am today.

“The rider of the horse has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“The driver and passenger of the car were uninjured.”

The road is now said to be clear.
