SANTA traded in his reindeer and sleigh for a motorbike and sidecar when the Boston Motorcycle Riders’ Association held its annual toy run.
A convoy of about 15 motorcycles, including some with sidecars, carried Santa and his elf from the Hammer and Pincers, on the A52, loaded with presents for Pilgrim Hospital’s children’s ward.
Organiser and club chairman Paul Facey said: “It went really well and we were well received at the hospital.
“Everybody waved to Santa in the sidecar and we got permission to ride through the precinct.
“Considering the weather it wasn’t a bad turnout.”
The riders were even allowed to drive through the town centre, including Pescod Square, on their journey to the hospital and delivered six sack loads of gifts to the youngsters.
