See a Loose Rocket at Axe

A BAND originally famous around town for their pyrotechnics is to perform at Boston’s Axe and Cleaver on Friday.

Boston-based Loose Rocket will be playing at the West Street venue from 10.30pm.

Formed in April 2000, the four-piece band consist of Pete Warsop on guitar and vocals, Baz Warsop on Drums, Stu Douglas on guitar and vocals and Kev Martin on Bass.

They covers classic and contemporary songs from artists like Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy and AC/DC through to Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Kings of Leon.

They played at Party in The Park, at Boston’s Central Park, on three consecutive years, playing to a crowd of 9, 000 on their third outing.

The show is free to enter.
