The Met Office has issued a yellow ‘be aware’ weather alert for Lincolnshire between midnight and 3pm on Tuesday - and is urging the public to take “extra care”.
A BBC weather forecast for Boston said: “Largely dry and cloudy initially, before windy conditions with outbreaks of locally heavy rain arrive from the west. Localised gales will developing across the north of the region.”
