Sight van in town today


A mobile sight van will makes its sole annual visit to Boston Market place today.

The van, which will be parked up between 10am-4pm, is in town for the South Lincolnshire Blind Society.

Boston borough councillor Carol Taylor, who represents the council on the society said: “We usually have a good turn out and some people who are newly diagnosed with some form of sight impairment find this a tremendous help with regard to information.

“It also has the most amazing gadgets to keep sight impaired people safe... even when making a cup of tea.”
