A QUACKERS event is giving people the chance to raise money for charity.
Organisers of The Big Duck Race Boston, Argos and the Geoff Moulder Swimming Pool, are holding their first rubber duck race in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust at Nottingham Queen’s Medical Centre.
Argos manager Lee Dickinson said: “We feel it’s a worthy cause and directly benefits our own community.
“It’s surprising how many people have come into contact with the unit one way or another.”
There will be cash prizes for the winning ducks and a mini-photo shoot on offer.
The date for the race is set for Sunday, June 26, at 5pm.
Entry is £2 per duck.
