The A18 is Britain’s most dangerous road, according to new report
The report notes that the number of serious and fatal crashes has risen from 10 (in 2008-2010) to 17 (2011-13), and also states that the road section is “rural and tree-lined, winding and narrow”.
The report continues: “These characteristics are likely to explain the high concentration of run-off crashes on the route (41 per cent).”
