Roll up, roll up, it’s show time as the Mr Fips Wonder Circus continues its 2014 season in Boston with a special offer to get a family ticket for just £22.
Mischievous Mr Fips is showing audiences some of his favourite international circus stars at the circus on the event field, on the A16, Sibsey, from today (Wednesday) until Sunday.
They include Indian hula hoop sensation Jana Roberts, whose performances take her high in the roof of the big top on the aerial trapeze, Miss Lidia with her hand balancing skills, the talented and charming Laura, the Shetland ponies and Andalusian horses.
There is also aerial contortion in the giant sphere, children’s favourite Charlie the Clown, animated cartoon characters George and Camilla and, from Mexico, the death-defying high-wire sensation Marco Polo.
That’s as well as Jose the juggler and roller balancer, the Duo Lee and their flying Diablos and Rusanov and his Seal Wheel.
So why not join Mr Fips and his comedy capers as he takes you through the wonderful world of the circus?
Mr Fips said: “Make a date, don’t be late, this and more can only be seen at the wonder circus – recreating childhood memories for all the family. Candy floss, popcorn, sawdust, the dazzling circus artistes, and funny clowns in the beautiful surroundings of the wonder circus big top make it a true family circus experience not to be missed.”
Shows take place daily at 7pm with Wednesdays and Sundays including a 3pm performance. Seats cost from just £9 adult and £8 child. Family Fridays, including two adults and two children (aged betwen two-12 years), £30 subject to availability.
However, Boston Standard readers are being offered their own special treat until the circus leaves on September 14.
Take along the coupon in this week’s paper – on sale now – and you can get a family ticket for just £22, saving yourself £8.
