The region could be set to experience a drop in temperatures later this week, according to the Met Office.
Forecasters say that it will be a cold, frosty start on Wednesday morning.
On Thursday morning, patchy frost is possible, with the odd spot of drizzle later on.
Friday will mainly be cloudy.
Drivers are being encouraged to give themselves extra time for journeys.
